NEW HOSPITAL AT WAIPAWA
(Per Press Association.) Dannevirke, June 12
The hospital board to-day accepted the offer of £SOOO from the trustees cf .the Roth bene estate for the erection upon the site in Waipawa, approved of by the Health Department, of a maternity hospital in accordance with the plan and conditions approved of by the department. The hospital and site are to l cost net under £4,000 and the balance is to be held in trust as an endowment to assist in the maintenance: c f the institution. The condition of the gift was that the Healh Department pay a subsidy cf £! for £1 on £SOOO.
