H Horner, a, well-dressed man of tvventv-three, is charged with murderin. a" five year old boy by drowning in Salford CanaL it m alleged that lie asked the boy to accompany ],j m to the canal. Tie there picked liim up, and threw him into tho water ..mil then knelt on the towing path and watched the boy drown. Another man failed to rescue the hoy.
