The rebel casualties are unknown. A police sergeant named McFadden was killed. A private uf the Royal Scots and two marines were captured. The latter were released while the soldier, who was wounded, escaped. Auxiliary police were sent to Maam, Connemare, to raid the house of Patrick O’Maillie, Sinn Fein member of the House of Commons, who has been on the run for. two and a-half years. Ambushers, v.ith a machine gun, killed a constable and wounded two others, and then decamped. Auxiliaries burned the house. SOVIET AND SINN FEIN.

In the House of Commons, replying to a question, the AttorneyGeneral for Ireland staled he would shortly publish evidence, shoving the connection between the Soviet Government and the Sinn Fein movement.
