Demands for a new agreement, which it is asked should operate from February 28, when the present agreement expires, have been drawn up bv the Miners Federation. The demands are said to bo similar to those presented to mine owners in Australia*. Ihe federation seeks a deduction of two hours per day wit ha five day week, also increased rales of pac .
