COMPENSATION CLAIM
Auckland, Feb V] At «the Arbitration Court Lilia.n Brinsley claimed Horn the Hikurangi Coal Company £520, compensation for the death of her husband. Brinsley, when using a track alongside the railway ' line, was struck by the engine. ®The court found that although the railway line was habitually used as a means of access to the mine workings there was np necessity to use it and gave judgment lor defendant. Leave was reserved to apply for costs.
