RIFLE SHOOTING

The opening shoot of the season took place on Thursday afternoon for Captain W. P. Bell's trophy. There was a good muster of members, and the shooting was good, considering the weather conditions. A very strong wind was blowing in the earlier part of the afternoon, but was less severe at the five hundred yards' range.
