An exciting film entitled "Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged," is now
being screened at the Town Hall. It depicts stirring mining camp life, and will be screened to night for the last time. To-morrow matinee and night "An Esienny to Society," a big Metro film and a story of a modern Robin Hood will be the chief item-. It is a daring and interesting theme and will be ably supported lay a second star. This film is unique inasmuch as it was the first film to be made in New Zealand, and was produced by Geo. H. Ttrr and photographed by Mr Chae. Newshain, a New Zealander. The photography is excellent and the film
is coloured throughout. It was taken on the original spots of the famous
legendary story of the Maori beauty "Hinemoa." Vocal accompaniments will be rendered, and the orchestra will enhance the film at the night performance. A big house should result.
