Aiubrym volcano, in the New Hebrides— i which broke, into violent eruption last year and caused serious damage and loss of lite but has been quiescent for some months—has broken out again and is vomiting ashes, which were blown a distance of thirty miles to the Aoba Islands. Captain Sealaric whiio conducting a survey of the islands discovered ten active volcanoes on the site of Bowers house and hospital. ANOTHER ERUPTION London, June 5 An eruption occurred in the Gangster Islands. The cocoa plantations were destroyed by lava. A hundred houses collapsed.
