The agitation against Prince William of Wied has spread to districts hitherto loyal. it is reported that the notorious insurgent chief Hi< met was caught and shot while attempting to induce the gendarmie at Eldassan to mutiny. London, June 7 It is reported in Paris, Berlin, Vienna, and Rome that Prince William of Wied is about to abdicate as ruler of Albania. The Duke of Adruz/i and members of the Bonaparte family are mentioned as successors.
