A PAENGAROA ROAD
At the meotiDg of the County Coun. ciJ on Tuesday a letter was read from Mr Ivo Carr. Paengaroa, who wrote as under ; "Although.l was not awaro the Paengaroa Progressive Society h a< j r. quested iho Council to form about six chains of road running east ani j west on the northern boundary °f the Paongaroa School until I re a<* the Councils meeting in a local paper, it lias been my intention for some time past, as a ratepayer and v one directly interested in this roal, to makej^this request, and in placing before you a few reasons for the requirement of this io id may I ask your Council to reconsider their decision. I am paying rates on 700 acres of land, to which this road gives access.
