Mr L V Hareourt, Colonial Secretary, presided at tho Empire Parliamentary Party's luncheon to Lord Denham, Premier of Uueonslaud, and Mr A M Myew, M.P., New Zealand. Lord Emmott, in proposing the health of the guests, paid a tribute to Australia and New Zealand's reception of the British Parliamentary party. Their social legislation was deeply interesting and was inspired by a desire to benefit millions rather than nrllion aires. Mr JJenham advocated that .State Parliaments should bo incorporated in a Parliamentary Association in fhe same terma «h Ihc Con/monwealth.
