Mr Den-ham reported having inter, viewed Mr Hannah .(district engineer), and submitted a plan of part of the Kopurererua Kiver, prepared by the stall' of the Public. Works Department, showing water level ay

After further discussion Mr Tsarke proposed—That Messrs Denham,, Taylor,, and Haniilt-on-C!rapes be enpoweml ~to make the necessary arrangements for proceeding with the work immediately on receipt of the. approved plan and engineer's report from the Public Works .Department.

The motion was seconded by Harvey and carried unanimously
