MOUNT MAUNGANUI DOMAIN BOARD.
The annual meeting- of the Mount Maunganui Domain Board was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Monday evening. Present -Rev. Canon Jordan (in the chair), Messrs J. Murdoch, F. H. Hammond, P. Mimro, C. E. Macmillan, A. W. Carmichael, H. T. Castaing, and T. S. Duncanson.
The annual report of the operations of: the Board for the year 1911 was . read. It set out that tracks had been attended to, treeplanting carried out, and conveniences erected. The proposed operations for the ensuing year included renewal of stringers and sundry repairs to wharf, treeplanting, additional conveniences, shelter shed," improvements to tracks, improvements to stone landing, Application to the Government for subsidy of £100 wa^ recommended. The balance in bank and rent due amounted to <£2(>ls 2d, and outstanding accounts to £2 17s Bd. The chairman moved, That the re-' port be approved and adopted.- Seconded by Mr Carmkhael and carried. ■ The letter from Messrs J. W. Wrigley, H. F. Knight, C. Urquhart, and C W. Grove, ot! Rotorua, previously • received, suggesting improvements at" the M.ount, was considered. It was decided to defer action to see if a subsidy would be granted by the Government. Accounts totalling £ii 9i 3d were' passed for payment..
