Messrs A. li. Harris, M. W. Armstrong and Wm. Johns (members of the Auckland Land Board, and Mr R. Leckie (secretary) arrived here by motor car last night, and leave for/ Auckland to-morrow.
The many friends of Mr G. M. Mathitson, who met with a serious accident a few mont-ns ago, will be
pleased to hear that he has nowbeen able to leave tiie Waihi hospital.
Rev. Douglas Mill left for Waikato 'by special this morning, accompanied by Rev. E. A. Kirwo 0 d and Mr G; C. Garlick/of Auck*and. Revs. W. R. Woolley.and A. North, and Messrs W. H. Lamb and T. V. HiU left for Auckland 'by the Aupouri atnoon.
Much sympathy is felt in the Tauranga district for Mr and 3irs C. F. Hulme im the great loss which they have sustained 'by the death of their son Mervyn, who died at -tho Wai pi ro Bay Tlospit al on Sunn ay last. Deceased was an old Tauranga boy and was held in the highest esteem by all who knew him, as ho was a young man of integrity and fine character.
