Trentham for the final 50 for the Belt was conducted dariiig light showers, which made things unpleasant for the spectators and competitors. The Belt was won by Rifleman Qeo. Halliday W. .". King (Christcburcb)" being the runner up. Captain Ross and W. H. Cutler (N.8.W.) tied for third plac3. The Empire Match wa3 won by New Zealand by 1 1 1 points, with a score of 2043; New Sonth Wales scored 1932. Marshall was top scorer for New Zealand with 134, and W. Cutler for Australia with 131.
