JUNIORS V. KATIKATI.

The above match was played at Katikati on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Katikati by 9 points to nil, made up with a goal from a penalty kick and two tries. The Juniors left Tauranga about 10.30 on Saturday morning in the Result, but owing trt a few sand or mud banks being in the way, they were not landed until about four o'clock in the afternoon. They all went at a run to cbaDge their garmentp, and started to play about 4.20. The Katikati team was composed of full grown men and before the game was over darkness had set in. We have no report of the game yet, but our boys complain that the Eeferee, Mr Middlebrook, sounded the whißtle many times when it should not have been, consequently favouring Katikati.
