-! •■■■■ - Preparations are now almost completed for the big annual fixture with the cajatal of the province, which is to be fought out on thepubKc domain on Saturday next. We would here remind the public of the splendid reception given to our Reps wh: n they visited Auckland last year, and suggest, that all favouritism be put to one side during the match, and let us accord the visitors as hearty* welcome, and as much applause for their play as . we are inclined to give to ouro wn team. The catering for the visitors is being arranged by the Working Committee, and we believe Mr. Asher of the Tauranga Hotel has been entrusted with the carrying out of the programme for th# tea, smoke concert, eet. The storekeepers are to be asked to close their stores from 3 to 5 o'clock on Saturday during the progress of the match. i
