THE CORICAN BROTHERS.
Tho above weird romance — one of the most successful of the age — and made famous by that great tragedian Henry Irving, will be produced by the Australian Company to-night. As this night has been generously set apart by the Company for a football benefit there will doubtless be a bumper house. The new Comedy "Stella andFestus" will also be produced in which the charming ballad "Killamey" will be rendered by Miss Helen Fergus (by request). Mr. Chas. Hogarth, one of the best ventriloquists oa the stage, will give an exhibition of his powers, so that a monster programme has been prepared for this evening. EAST- LYNNE. Tomorrow, Friday, a dramatisation of Mrs. Henry Woods work, will be staged. This is an emotional drama in which that talented artiste, Miss Helen Fergus, has made exclusively her own, and her assumption of the role of Lady Isabel and Madam Vine is spoken of by the Australian and English press as being nothing short of perfect. A number of requests have been received by her to add this drama to the list during their season in Tauranga and as it is one of the strongest pieces in the Companys' repertoire an excellent performance and a large house may be safely predicted tomorrow night. MAMMA. On Saturday the diverting comedy in 3 acts, by John Oxenford, will be presented for the first time here, and as this is the last night of * the companys stay the residents will doubtless give them a good send off. The bos plan is now open at C. G. Carters'.
