The public schools broke tip to-day for the usual Christmas Holidays. At - the Harington Street School a number of hamdsome prizes had been provided through the kind efforts of the head teacher, Mr " Liliington. MrLundon addressed the chilaren in a few kind and appropriate remarks, and specially alluded to the neat appearance and behaviour of the Scholars. The prizes were then distributed as follows. —
