The number of those actually drowned on Sunday is not yet; definitely ascertained. Another man, Bichard Falgar, who loaves a wife and fajnily in Timaru, has been added to the list. Possibly two others may be put down as lost. So many strange? sailors and other voluuteers went oii' that it is hard to get at tho actual numbers. Throebodies of men lost on Sunday in connection with {tho recent wrecks have been washed ashoro near Whales Creek, and boon eonvev r ed'lo Melville's hotel, where they awaic tho inquest. Two of them ha-vo been recognised, but one. is so horribly disfigured as to be beyond recognition,* They are Manuel Neilson, a Swede, formerly in tho employ of the Harbour Board, and McLean, carpenter, of the City of Perth.
Martin Bates, landing service man, and Captain Mills wero buried tliis afternoon with Masonic honors.
