It will bo proposer! to mnlre provision for tho Otugo Central _ Railway oat of tho loan. A sum. will "bo vote,d for it, .and blocks of land will also "be devoted to tlus construction of the lino. Provision will also bo nmdo for opening 1 up"; _ communication botwoen Tarnnuki and Auckland, or from Auckland to some portion of Wellington province, through the centre of tho island. Another .section to bo added to the Picton ; and Blenheim line, joining ifc v&tli Canterbury will also probably bo proposed. Provision will also bo made to conclude the . contract for a direct steam service with England. This service will be forcavgo and immigration purposes, but no attempt will bo made. to use ifc as a mail route. A sum of raonoy will also bo sot apart out of tho Joan for the resumption of immigration; but it has boon resolved tliafe great care shall bo taken so that v most useful class of ■ immigrants only shall bo introduced. Authority will lao taken, to renew the San .Francisco mail service ;, but there is some prospect that a proposal may bo made for steamers to call at Fiji, .a "branch boat being put on for New Zealand.
