CLUTHA PRESBYTERY.
The Clntha Presbytery held a specisal meeting on Wednesday, when there were present Revs. Morton 1 (Moderator pro tern)-and S. W. Currie, and Messrs R. Campbell amUAlex, Currie. The clerk laid on the tabic a unanimous- and hearty, call from. Tokomairiro congregation to Rev. Henry Clark, 8.A., M.C., signed by lilO members and 51 ad'lieroiits, and pnoiiiisi a salary of £4OO per annum, and every year a month's. holid-av.. '
Messrs Coghill, Ronnie, and Braik appeared as commissioners from the congregation, and testified to the unanimity that prevailed, audi stated that but for the wet day and the flooded roads of last Sunday! the call would have been still 'better signed. On the motion of Mr R. Campbell, seconded by Mr. Alex. Currie, it was agreed to sustain the call and to forward it to Mr Clark for consideration. \ln the event of Mr Clark accepting the call it- was' agreed to fix the induction services for Wednesday, the .10th prox, i at 6.30 p.m., Rev: 'Currie to preside and preach and: induct, Rev. Morton to address tlie iminister, and Rev. Bandy the congregation. ■ '
