Private George Scott (notification of whose death was published in last issue) was a son of Mr Henry Scott, of Tokoiti Road. Private Scott was 26 years of age at the time of his death, and enlisted in the Rifle Brigade. Prior to enlistment at Milton he followed general farming occupations, and for a period was working in th 6 Canterbury district. A brother, Sergt. H. H. Scott, was invalided home in the earlier stages of the war, and is now in the Auckland distriot, 0 PRIVATE THOMAS MALEY. The relatives of Private Thos v Maley, Clarksville, received official advice yesterday that he died from wounds last Sunday in the 18th General Hospital, at Dannes Camiers. Private Maley went away with the 24th Reinforcements, which took their departure from Milton on January 3rd. 1917. Prior to enlistment in the Empire's service he worked on the family's > farming property at Clarksville. Private Alex. Hamilton (a son of Mrs H, Hamilton, Springfield, Milton) is re* ported as having been wounded on Sept. 6th. Private Hamilton enlisted in Group XIII area, and sailed early in the pre* sent year. He was formerly employed on gold dredges in the Glenore and Ceni tral Otago districts.
