Soldiers 'Xmas Parcels.

Mr J. R, Wilson last week packed and sent away eleven oases of Christmas paroels, and anticipates, with the par" eels sent in on Friday and Saturday, to pack another eight or ten oases, and he deßireß us to state that anyone wishing to Bend with this lot to leave parcels at his shop not later than Wednesday, to enable them to be packed and sent away on Thursday. Mr Wilson desires to thank those friends who have sent in parcels for lonely soldiers, and any each will be received again this week. / These goods are all sent through the Overseas Club, and the Women's Dune* din branch of the Club are holding a "Street Day" next Friday, and are making an appeal to their country friends to assist them with donations of flowers, and Mr Wilson asks us to mention that he would be glad to receive any such gifts not later than Thursday next up to 5 p.m., so as to forward to Dunedin by the evening train, as a token of appreciation from Milton. The money raised by this effort is to be devoted to Xmas gifts for New Zealand soldiers.
