C2 Men.
TO BE CALLED UP NEXT MONTH, The first draft of 02 men who are to undergo special training at the Bpecial camp at Featherston with a view to making them fit for active service will be called into camp on September 26, The draft will consist of 500 men. Training will consist of a graduated system of exercises, aimed solely at the creation of a physically fit man out of a man who when he enters camp iB unfit. This training will be under the daily supervision of medical officers, The oamp will be known as the CI Training Camp. Attached to the Special Medical Board who re-examine C2 men and classify promising cases into CI will be a combatant officer as military approving officer, who will advise the Board whether men suffering from minor disabilities should be accepted for service or again rejected, This officer will be one who has earned distinctions in the field and has actual experience lof similar work in England. The oamp will be a subdivision of Featherston camp, and will be under the control of a special staff.
