Toko. Farmers' Club.

The monthly meeting of the Tokomairiro Fanners' Club was held in the County Chambers last evening, when there was an attendance of about a dozen members. The President (Mr W. Farquharson) occupied the chair. One small account in connection with last summer show was passed for payment. Mr Norrie moved, and Mr Russell seconded, that all prize-money in connection with the winter show be paid. — Carried. The secretary (Mr A. Campbell) presented a rough balance-sheet in connection with the recent winter show, which showed a loss of about £6, the approximate receipts totalling £98 2s, and the expenditure ios. - It was decided that the annual social be held on Friday, July 22nd, and the following gentlemen were appointed a committee to arrange details : — President (Mr W. Farquharson), Vice-president (Mr J. M'Leod),*and Messrs W. W. Hall, J, Tough, T. H. Russell, T. Scott, J. France, W. Allison, T. Falconer, J. Grey, E. Martin, and W. Thornton.
