MILTON STOCK SALES.

Maclean and Co report having held Mr S6ede's sale and although the attendance wa& not large all present seemed bent on business. Sheep realised very satisfactory prices, hoggets fetching 13j Id, and wethers 13s Sd while ewes brought up i.'loa Id. The horses, impliments and house effects, were also disposed of at highly gratifyiug rates. The following sales were also effected during the fortnight: — 24 head bullocks and heifers, 199 eweß 16a 9d, 14S do, 127 do, and 217 hoggets 12a 7d J. A. Duthie and Co. report only a small entry at last Tuesdays sale all of which were disposed of at satisfactory prices and sold by auction, 132 hoggets lla, 20 do 9a, 419 do 12a 6d, 51do 11s 6i, 105 do 12s 9d, 21 fat sheep 16s, 70 ewes 11s 6d, 32 store cattle up to £3 4s and horses at from £27 to £32.
