Tbe Quarry Reserve
A meeting of the delegates appointed by the Brnoe County Council and the Milton Borough Counoil waa held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday evening to receive tenders for working tbe quarry for the ensuing year, Messrs H. Clark and R. Murray represented the. County Counoil and Messrs F. Baatings and W, Moore the Borough CounoJl, Mr Clark being in- the ohair. ■..,,. Four tenders were received, viz., Messrs P. Allison lOd per yard, J. Tough Is, E. Atby Is, W. H. Groves Js 6d. Mr Moore moved "That Mr Allison's tender be accepted." • Mr Bastings seoonded the motion, which was carried.
