ROAD AT BERWICK

The Inspector reported re road leading to Moore Bros., Waipori, from Berwick, that there was a fair road along the leading ridge, although a littlo steep In aome places. The rest of the road with some of the scrub and Bnow grass tussocks cleared could not be improved except it were formed and metalled. Messrs Moore wanted a road to connect their land with the road on leading ridge a little beyond Trig. J. It was Crown land, and unsurveyed. A very good road could be mad« for about £30, and a rough timber bridge would cost an additional £20. It was resolved, on the motion of Cr M'Pherson, seconded by Cr M'Kay, "That the report bo adopted, and tenders called for the works."
