TOKO. DOMAIN BOARD.
A meeting of the Committee of the Domain Board was held in the Council Chambers on Friday evening. Present — Messrs Duthie (Chairman), Twiss, Inglis, Clark, Bastings and Murray. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. A notice was received from the Farmers' Club of their intention to erect a division fence between the Domain and the Club's paddock, section 104, block Xllf., and a deputation from the Club waited on the Board on the subject. If; was resolved, on the motion of Mr Murray, seconded by Mr Bastings, "That the fence to be erected be a " dropper " fence, and planted with macrocarpas, also that a temporary fence oi 2 barbed wires be erected inside." It was moved by Mr Clark, seconded by Mr Twiss, and carried, " That specifications for clearing whins and trimming division fence be prepared, and tenders called for the work by next meeting." An account from the Bruce Hebald, 12a, waa passed for payment; It was reaolved that the School Committee be charged 6d, iostead of Is, per load for about 17 loads of gravel. The Committee adjourned.
