HORSE MARKET.

Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report as follows :—Saturday last being a race day our weekly sale took place go, Tuesday instead.

The entries were very numerous, and they included draughts, light harness horses, and racing stock. Although there was a great attendance afc the sale, but few evinced any desire to purchase, consequently only a very limited number of horses changed hands, aud these at a considerable reduction on recent quotations. Some three or four second class racehorses found buyers at very low prices. We quote first-class draughts at from £20 to £25 ; medium, £12 to £16 ; good hacks and light harness horses, £12 to £18 ; medium, £7 to £10 ; light and weedy, £1 10s to £5.
