Good useful saddle and harness horses are going at reasonable prices. No carriage pairs to hand. No milch cows forward. In vehicles and tnrnouts a brisk trade was done. The following are my quotations during the week :— Best saddle and harness horses from £20 to £30, for one £50 was offered and refused ; good useful ditto, from £10 to £18 15s ; weeds, £1 to £5 ; active draught and van horses from £14 to £25 ; heavy draught to £40 ; privately, a young coaching stallion (yearling), for 120 guineas. Vehicles; several of various kinds exchanged hands qp to 71 guineas.
