The Government contemplate the introduction of a system of deferred telegrams at cheap rates, the tariff will probably be at a rate of ten words for sixpence. These messages will be sent by telegram to the postal town of the district to which they they are directed, and will then be stamped and handed over to the post office for distribution by the letter-carrier at the next delivery.
