OUR LATE EXECUTIVE.
Turn them out, tarn them out, or stand by the
Bo content, that disgrace will rest on your name; If you don't turn them out you are equally bud, The future looks gloom*, dark shaded and sad. The people have waited, and waited in vain, And trusted, and trusted, again and again ; They expected reform from the p,ledgo3 you made, And will you belie every word that you said. But they must be turned out ere the placo it undone, There ne'er was such roguery under the <sun ; We surely are mad, or all gone to sleep, When we trust our affairs with such people to keep. Wo are rich in our gold, in our cattle and gVain, But where is the honor, and where is the br tin ; The brain we have not, and for honor therejs none, They pocket the cash when the dirty work's done. Like a beggar on horseback to the devil we go, Or a ship without rudder we plunge to and fro, With breakers ahead, while loud billows roar, And the good ship Otago will soon be ashore. Cbaio-ibleb.
