MORE VITUPERATION. [press association.] AUCKLAND, December •>. The Loader of the Opposition and the Opposition candidate for Parnel! addressed a large meeting at Parnel! to-night and received an ovation. Discussing the letter addressed to Mr MS ah" by the Jlawke's Bay shareholders of the Mokau Company, Mr Massey said the letter was so cunningly drafted that it was almost impossible to found a libel action upon it. He asked for a definite charge, and that the men who signed the letter should say where he bad' told falsehoods. Either they must prove him wrong or take, their chance in the. Supreme Court. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried amid cheers for Messrs Massey and Dickson.
