Vinsijak Savarkar, an Indian law student, who landed at Newliaven, has been arrested in London, on an extradition warrant, on v a charge of sedition in India. He appears before the Bow-street magistrate to-day. (Received March 15, 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. Savarkar, arrested yesterday, was a member of Grays' lan, and correspondent for some newspapers. He was remanded, and bail was refused. CALCUTTA, March 14. The Lieut-Governor of Bengal has ordered the confiscation of a quantity of waistclotlis having the borders inscribed with a seditious Bengali poem.
