At a meeting of tlie Wanganui branch of the Enginedrivers', Eiremen's and Cleaners' Association, a motion .was unanimously carried condemning the hostile 'attitude of the president and executive of the Amal- j gamated Society of Railway Servants against the aims of the association, and the members pledged themselves to support in every way their own grand council, " already representing 70 per cent, of the locomotive staff, as the only association calculated to further their interests, and as the. only one in which they have any con- ! ficlen-ce.
