AX APPLICATION DISMISSED. [PEEBS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, to-day. The petitkm by the Law Society to the Supreme- Court to exercise its disciplinary jurisdiction in Tegard to . Moore and Moore, solicitors, in respect to Poytnz's case, was dismissed with costs. His. Honor said that one charge of the Law Society, and proved, untrue, was that defendants misappropriated moneys received, and the suggestion that they had fattened upon the provision made for their client was absolutely untrue. His Honor hoped this, would receive as wide publicity as the original charges.
