A meeting of the Ploughing Match Committee was he-Id last evening, Mr M. Paulsen in the chair. The secretary reported on the arrangements made for the match. Messrs M. Paulsen and F. A. Pricp promised trophies in addition to those advertised, and it was agreed to havo a guessing competition for the weight of a sheep, Aunt Sally, and catching the .greasy pig to amuse the public during the match. Mr F. C. White has promised to do all he can for the benefit of the public, and will make an entrance to the paddock oft* the Waipnkurau Road.
