We have always a keen demand and vendors need have no fear of not finding a ready sale. Our quotations arc fair average prices. We never quote small exceptional lines, as it is misleading. Over 400 head of poultry went through our pens on Saturday, and the bulk left the town for other districts. We quote : —Pigs : Weaners 8s 6d, 9s 9d, 10s, 10s 9d, slips lis, lis 3d, 12s, 14s 9d, light porkers 17s 6d, £1, £1 2s 6d, £1 os, heavy porkers £1 10s, £1 16s"6d.
