ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH, last night. The police have been advised that William Lamb, aged 20, had shot himself at Bayley arid Elliott's station, Awakino, where he was employed. AUCKLAND, to-day. At the inquest on Mrs Horsfall, who died from injuries sustained by a fall from an Onehunga tramcar, the jury found that death resulted froni deceased being thrown off by the car starting before she had time to alight in safety. Chas. Halley, the motorman, and Herbert Birkett, the conductor, were charged with manslaughter, and were remanded. Bail was allowed.
