v . «» —^ [PHEBB ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, to-day. The Customs duty collected in Auckland in May was £"41,429, against £47,528 in ! May last year. While tho imports are decreasing the exports show a steady increase, notably in gold, silver, gum, meat, timber. Wool shows a decrease, but this is due to the main .clip having been shipped earlier this year.
