REFORMING THE HOUSE OF LORDS

The House of Lords Reform Committee, of which Lord Rosebery is chairman, has presented a report which recognises the expediency of altering the composition of the Chamber and a wider representation of the varied interests of tho country than is assured by heredity, and believes reform would be doubly vaulable if effected at a time when the House occupies a high position in the country's estimation.
