FISH MARKETS.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
WELLINGTON, yesterday
In reference to a telegram from Christchurch concerning fish markets, the department's secretary (Mi; Allport) states that letters have been sent at the direction of the Minister (Hon. J. A. Millar) to Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin as well as to Christchurch. "For some time past," he said to-day, "We have had a considerable number of complaints from fishermen who are rather out of the way of the markets. They send their fish in and get practically nothing for it. The fish goes into the hands of private dealers, who give what they like. The matter was considered by the department, and it was agreed that the best remedy for the difficulty would be the establishment of public markets, which the municipalities have power to set vp v under the Municipal Corporations Act."

Waiting for the pains to return — and waiting in vain — is the happy experience of many rheumatic sufferers who have taken Rheumo. Rheumo does not pose as a cure-all as do many of the largely advertised remedies of to-day, which are supposed to cure all the ills the flesh is heir to, but which in reality are merely aperients. Rheumo absolutely cures rheumatism, gout, lumbago, and sciatica, because it cleanses the system of all uric acid. This is the only possible method of cure. Hundreds have testified to benefit received. It will cure you. Sold by all chemists and storekeepers, 2s Gd and 4s 6d per bottle.
During our winter sale we are bringing forward each day special bargains. See our children's Beareth Coats, were 9s lid, now 7s lid; were 21s, now 14s 6d, were 16s 6d, now 12s 6d; these are gifts for the little f&lk. McDowell and Power.
