MARKET REPORT.
Harry Palmer, Palmerston North, reports a very large entry of weaners, and as there is now a keen demand for this particular sort they were all sold at prices considerably higher than last week, a particularly fine line realising 17s 9d. Very few stores came forward, and porkers fere in short supply, although the ruling prices for these lines are high. We had an excellent entry of poultry, which sold at high prices, 4s 6d per pair being the lowest price for anything offered. There is a good demand generally for all classes of produce.
