SUPREME COURT.
[PREB9 ASSOCIATION.] ' PALMERSTON N., to-day. Arthur Henry Woods was sonteuoed to tho maximum penalty of soven years at the Supreme Court this morning for asault on a seven-year-old girl. Accused has just completed a five-year sentence for a similar offence. Mr Justice Chapman said that for the safety of the community it was necessary to imprison him for tho longest term possible-.
