The late Mrs Thomson was the eldest daughter of the late William Heury Hunter, of Porangahau, and came to live with her family at Dannevirke some seven- ; teen years ago. About twelve years jigo sho was married to Mr Campbell Thomson, one of Dannevirke's foremost citizens, and since then her lifo has been largely identified with the social interests of the town. Tho deceased lady was held in tho highest ostimation by a wide circle of friends.
