+_ — — [pbess association.] AVELLINGTON, July 27.^ The Department of Industries and Commerce has received the following cable ,I'rom the High Commissioner, dated London, July 25th: — The wool sales have closed with light condition wool at former prices, heavy condition at ld lower. The stock is 'moderate and trade good, with favorable prospects. It is estimated that values are, for fine crossbreds of all grades ls ld to Is 4d ; medium crossbreds of all grades, 10^d to ls ld ; coarse crossbreds of all grades 9d to Is, superior merino ls to Is 2j-d, medium merino lld to ls ld, inferior merino 7 -id to lOd.
