ANTI-CHINESE AGITATION.

[Press Association.] DUNEDIN, July 25. As an outcome of the visit and addresses by Mr Lloyd in Djuneclin a provisional committee has been formed to keep the anti-Chinese movement active and to promote educational propaganda with a view of inducing people to refrain from patronising Chinese. A conference will be held in Wellington in due course and a deputation will wait on the Premier. Mr Lloyd, on leaving Duriedin, goes to Auckland, speaking at Christchurch and on the West Coast en route, and returning to Wellington via Napier and Palmerston North.
