ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, July 25. At an inquest to-day on the body of James McEnirney, aged 47, found hanging to a tree yesterday in Newtown Park, a verdict of suicide whilst insane was returned. The widow of deceased ~ gave - evidence that since losing ,his employment as laborer under the City Council he had been very despondent. Efforts to get him reinstated had failed. Deceased had a family of eight children.
